Leading the Innovation and Product Management activities at Virtual Power Solutions, S.A., former ISA Energy, an innovative, market leader in the design and operation of dynamic connected platforms to manage distributed energy resources, providing real-time granular data to consumers, network operators and utilities. VPS provides ESaaS (Energy Savings as a Service) and develops Plug & Play IoT (Internet of Things) innovative solutions with Cloud based Big Data technologies.

Luísa is passionate for innovative ICT product development and market strategy. With more than 10 years’ experience in these fields, she has participated in more than 40 innovation projects delivering solutions for Energy Efficiency, Smart Cities, Smart Grids, Demand Response and Smart Homes. She was also executive director of Business Angels firms helping with the analysis of new start-ups and investment management. And she has also helped to launch and boost the living lab ISALL - Intelligent Sensing and Smart Services Living Lab, which has now evolved into a Smart Cities business association, B2Citizens. Currently she is also responsible for international partnerships to expand company’s business to foreign markets.

I'm also attending a PhD in Marketing and Strategy, a joint international doctoral program of the University of Aveiro, University of Minho and University of Beira Interior with research work focused on the “Business Models Research for Value Creation in ICT Market: The Energy Digitalization Opportunity". In the past I have completed a degree in Economics at the University of Coimbra and a Masters and MBA in Marketing Management at the IPAM Marketing School with a dissertation on the “Impact Analysis of the Innovation Sources on Business Performance
