During the lifecycle of an asset, before its cradle until after its grave, a lot of decision making takes place. There is strategic decision making, operational decision making, technical decision making and financial decision making.
Question is: Can you improve decision making if you give decision makers better access to the data of an asset? Will that help to better operate assets, make better maintenance or investment decisions? Could better asset data help us gain more insight into the effect the energy transition has on our grids?
In 2014 Stedin started with the PALM program, a set of projects and innovation initiatives around digital asset lifecycle management and a journey towards a digital twins of our asset base. In this presentation you will hear some of the results and key learnings we gained so far.
