With the accelerated adoption of EVs and increased uptake of charging infrastructure in commercial properties, managed EV charging will be critical in improving building energy efficiency.

In this tech talk, VPPlant will demonstrate their IT system which shifts energy consumption between buildings and shares savings with energy companies in the form of 'negawatts' (energy which was consciously saved) within the Demand Side Response (DSR) programme. We will learn about the key aims of the driv2e project:

  • Providing commercial properties with a platform for managed EV charging
  • Shifting energy consumption between building and charging infrastructure to meet demand in real time
  • Optimising the energy infrastructure of the building
  • Enabling faster installation of EV chargers to increase the number of serviced cars

Your speaker for this tech talk:

Grzegorz Nowaczewski, Co-founder and CEO of VPPlant, is an influencer and innovator in Demand Side Response, and is currently working on a number of projects for faster, more efficient EV charging.
